Diagnostic Methods
holistic laboratory
The holistic laboratory (e.g., biovis) enables comprehensive check-ups as well as targeted evaluations of existing lab values. Modern analyses provide a detailed picture of nutrient status, metabolism, cellular health, and inner balance as a foundation for individualized therapy. These assessments are particularly beneficial for chronic complaints such as fatigue, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, pain, allergies, or cardiovascular concerns.
Services & Goals:
- Whole blood mineral analysis
- Vitamin profiles and stress and metabolism analyses
- Microbiome, hormone, and neurostress diagnostics
- Individual programs for: regeneration, detoxification, and strengthening organ functions
- More energy, vitality, and support for healthy aging (longevity)
Kinesiological Testing
Kinesiological testing allows for the holistic recognition of intolerances, physical and emotional connections, and potential causes of complaints. The body is seen as an intelligent system, where body, mind, and spirit are closely interconnected and continuously communicate with each other.
Targeted muscle tests can reveal the body’s reactions that provide insight into what strengthens or weakens it. Our “system” responds clearly and reliably to every question that can be answered with “yes” or “no.” This helps uncover hidden burdens, blockages, or intolerances, enabling targeted interventions.
Pathophysiology
Pathophysiognomy, facial diagnosis = the doctrine of organ- and function-specific disease signs in the face. It has its roots in the over 3000-year-old art of facial diagnosis, part of traditional Chinese medicine.
The facial skin is assessed based on color, tissue fullness, skin tension, skin structure, and luminosity.
Structural changes primarily reveal swellings: congestion, fullness, edema, or indentations, which indicate: deficiency, emptiness, and dryness.
The signs our body shows do not lie. Clearly recognizable are the weakened areas of the digestive system, respiratory system, heart, urinary system, autonomic nervous system, genital system, metabolism, hormonal system, and microcirculation. These signs serve, among other things, as important diagnostic and monitoring tools.
TCM, Zungendiagnosis
The first person believed to have applied tongue diagnosis is Bian Que, one of the most famous doctors in China, who lived from 472 to 221 BC. It is another holistic diagnostic method.
The normal tongue reflects the energetic harmony in the body. The perfect interplay of Yin and Yang, Qi and Blood, as well as the condition of the bodily fluids, is evident in the tongue’s shape, color, and coating.
The healthy, vital tongue:
- is pale red
- the tongue body is free of cracks and neither excessively thick nor thin
- the tongue coating is thin and whitish
- the sublingual veins are not engorged
